El-Shaddai Hope Centre is a non-profit making Church Organization based on very firm and strong Christian believes.The Home supports all orphans including those who are affected by HIV/AIDS and other sicknesses. El-Shaddai Hope Centre also caters for other children who have suffered Child abuse. Further, this centre caters for young boys and girls who have been through Drugs and Substance abuse. El-Shaddai Hope Centre was was founded by Pastor Stephen M. Njau and his wife Beatrice Wairimu in January 2003. It is a registered Community Based Organisation with the Government of Kenya registration No. 16427.
Location
The first location was in Ikinu, Kahungu shopping centre but later relocated to Gathanje in Githunguri in April 2006. Currently the home has rented three different premises within Gathanje village at a reach of 1 kilometre apart. This comprises of the main house, which is also the girls dormitories, boys residence and the babies section.
The Children
The home currently caters for 145 children from ages of 8 months , who were brought in by the local police when they were 8 days old.
The oldest is 19 years old who joined us when he was 14 years after the grandmother who was looking after him died leaving him with no one
Education
We have classes for the nursery and standard one children in the orphanage. The rest of the children are attending nearby Primary Schools namely; Gathanje, AK Magugu, Grather Academy, Holy Trinity and Kiragu Academy. Secondary Schools namely Don Bosco Secondary (Ndumberi), Kanunga Boys High School, Saint Augastine Boys Thika, Saint Bakita Girls,Juja. Nyanduma and Ndumberi youth polytechnics .

Suport and donations
El-Shaddai Hope Centre for Orphans having an uprising number of orphans who comes from all corners of our Nation (kenya), runs entirely on donations from well wishers. The orphanage needs you as a partner and also to introduce the home to potential donors and sponsors.
Mission statement
This has been possible due to the concerted efforts from the Management and well-wishers who continue to express their kindness by donating food and clothing for this children
However, finances have been a major hindrance to El-Shaddai Hope Centre in achieving its Principal Objective. Our main objective is to intensify our work so that these Children can have a bright future just like any other child in this nation.
