MONITORING & EVALUATION

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) involves measuring progress and performance against laid down targets as a way of assessing progress and value. It enables the identification of casual factors and ensures quality control and quality assurance. The process provides feedback allowing for review and recommendation making as well as the identification of remedies. The successful implementation of this strategic plan will need clear mechanisms of Monitoring and Evaluation.

 

The process of M&E should be internalized within the activities of this intervention. This should involve tracking and reviewing the progress of development initiatives through;

• Quarterly consultations by various Partners, Donors and sponsors
• children periodically update to the sponors
• Annual review reports to Donors
• Project visits and observations of the OVC's at the Centre
• Heath status report of the OVC's in the centre.
• A Calendar of events and activities
• Monthly Financial reports from the management
• A SWOT analysis of the intervention

To ensure that the activities in the action plan are accomplished as per the plan.

Advise Sponcers, Donors & other partners on cost effective and efficient strategies of carrying
out the activities.

To pursue innovative ideas to enhance performance of the Project.
