The problem

EL-SHADDAI HOPE CENTRE IS CURRENTLY HOUSING OVER 145 CHILDREN IN A SMALL FAMILY HOUSE

   * MANY OF THE CHILDREN GO TO SCHOOL AND NEED SUPPORT.

   * BOOKS, STATIONARY AND SCHOOL FEES.

   * HOME FACILITY PROBLEMS SINCE THE HOME IS LOCATED IN DIFFERENT AREAS

   * LITTLE NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS IN ALL AREAS

   * RENT FOR THE THREE PREMISES

The education system in Kenya is quite expensive especially since most of the kids attend private schools which are more efficient.

This is also due to lack of enough chances for our many kids in the nearby government schools.

There are high prices of food and consumer goods, and the global food shortages being experienced, which have a direct negative impact in the home.

Great need for the home to acquire its own land and build premises for the kids since the current rented premises are very expensive and not spacious enough

There is need for the home to acquire a vehicle to facilitate provision of better transport services to the kids to and from school, to the clinic and health centers since the kids walk to school even in rainy and cold seasons, and use public means to access health centers, which are very inconvenient unreliable, expensive and inefficient.

Most of the kids have health problems and need special care especially with drugs and nutrition. Others are HIV positive and require special attention.
